With the new year well under way its around this time that new legislation will begin to be seen. This includes new laws, covering everything from texting and driving to carrying a concealed weapons and cyber bulling. I feel it is important for people at the college age and education level because it will be the responsibility of us young adults to educate ourselves on this new legislation. It is also us who will be expected to deal with the consequences and repercussions of these laws. Dealing with the expansion and invasion of electronics into our daily lives we must now learn to combat the ever growing amounts of unacceptable acts taking place with these new technologies. Ignorance is not an excuse for breaking the law. In order to protect yourself from others and the heavy hand of the government and their legislation it is  important to understand the workings around you and the limits of your actions.

Snowboarding Blog Critique

http://www.snowboardgo.com/
This blog is gives a list of topics realted to snowboarding. At first glance it seems more like an add than a blog. After reading and exploring the page briefly however it gives a great variaty of topics related to snowboarding and skiing. It appeal to both the veteran snowboarders and beginers as well. It displays a large variety of topics, allowing readers to find a wide variety of information. It also gives reviews of products,  and provides the link to allow users to move to the products official web page. One jepordizing element I found was that the blog had not been updated since December. Although it provides a multitude of information, it is not a go to place for up to date postings.

Obama's Recovery: Is it working?

These blogs give positives and negatives of President Barrack Obama's Economic Recovery Plan. Although it is not the most interesting thing to most college students, however it can be extremely important to understand. As the young adults that will soon be moving into the job world understanding both the economy and how it works in an extremely important concept to grasp. This Economic Recovery Plan is especially important because it may also effect college students. Tuition can rise or fall because of government funding and book prices could be subsidized. Although every person may view politics differnently having a broad understanding will still help students in the transition into the "real world".
